This image was made in July 2021 in Paris (f/7.1, 1.3s, iso100) right after sunset. The Pont Neuf is the oldest standing bridge across the Seine River in Paris. There is a saying that when lovers cross this bridge it brings them luck when they kiss.<br /><br /><br />The Pont Neuf is the oldest standing bridge across the river Seine in Paris, France. Built over 400 years ago it used to be the center of Paris with crime and business up to the 18th century. The philosopher Franklin wrote to his friends in America that he had not understood the Parisian character except in crossing the pont Neuf. Renovated back in 2007 it shines in these beautiful colors now. There is a saying that when a couple crosses the bridge it brings them luck when they kiss. Maybe this also works by looking at the photo?
