The Arc de Triomphe is standing at the end of the Champs-Élysées (opposing Place de la Concorde) at the centre of Place Charles de Gaulle in Paris. It was built to honor those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. Beneath its vault lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This image shows the Arc de Triomphe at sunset while the light trails of the traffic around the Arc de Triomphe harmonize with the colors of the sunset.
